WELCOME TO SPOTLIGHT SAVANNAH

We have been producing some of the most beautiful and friendly cats and kittens since 1998 when our first Savannah kitten was born. All kittens come with a health guarantee and replacement policy in writing. We do not recommend early generation Savannahs for households with young children due to the simple fact that young Savannahs, like young children, can get rambunctious and playful and yet not know their size or potential until more mature. Savannahs are all simply house cats who eat, sleep play and use the litter box the same as any domestic cats.

Savannah Cats are a wonderful exotic looking breed of domestic feline. Most prized for its large size, dog like personality and family friendly demeanor. They are a high energy cat breed that enjoys play and exercise. Due to high energy they do need more exercise than most cat breeds. No book can prepare you for having these bundles of spotted joy but there is a savannah cat book by Mysavannahshop. Often you will find a savannah cat interacting with dogs and its owners since savannahs relish attention. Unlike higher generation bengal cats or pure exotics that can be shy in nature. Savannahs have the highest jump of many feline breeds.

Savannahs are considered one of the larger breeds of domesticated cats. Their tall and slim build gives Savannahs the appearance of greater size than their actual weight. They are as tall as many breeds of domestic dogs. F1 hybird and F2 Savannahs are usually the largest, due to the stronger genetic influence of the African Serval forbear. Male Savannahs tend to be larger than females. On average, early generation Savannahs may weigh 10 to 25 lbs. Average size is also very dependent on generation and sex, with F1 male cats usually being the largest. Later generation Savannahs are usually between 8-17 lbs. Because of the random factors in Savannah hybrid genetics, there can be significant variation in size, even in one litter. Some breeders report Savannahs in excess of 30 pounds with at least one breeder claiming an over 40 pound males.
